FennaVerse is operated by MEBAL ("we", "us", "our"), a community-first digital initiative focused on educational and storytelling tools for families.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, and basic profile information from sign-in providers.
• Child profile preferences: child name, age group, reading level, themes, language, story length, art/voice settings, and optional child gender.
• Story content: prompts you submit, generated story text, images, audio narration, and related metadata.
• Billing/subscription data: Stripe customer/subscription identifiers, plan status, invoice records, and payment lifecycle events.
• Support and feedback data: messages sent via contact/feedback forms and technical metadata (for example, request timestamps and user agent where applicable).
• Usage and diagnostics: service logs, reliability events, and basic analytics/telemetry to maintain platform quality and security.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide and improve story generation, narration, and account features.
• Personalize stories based on your saved preferences.
• Process subscriptions, billing, and invoice history.
• Send service notifications (for example, subscription and account-related notices).
• Detect abuse, enforce limits, and protect platform security.
• Respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues.

Depending on your location, we process data based on one or more of:

• Performance of our contract with you (providing FennaVerse services).

5. Service Providers and Sharing

We share data only as needed to operate FennaVerse, including with:

• Firebase (Google): authentication, database, and file storage.
• Stripe: subscription billing and invoicing.
• AI/TTS providers: story generation, image generation, and narration features.
• Workflow/notification tooling: operational notifications and support workflows.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.

6. Children's Privacy

FennaVerse content is designed for children, but accounts are intended to be created and managed by parents/guardians. Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive information about children.

7. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide services, maintain security/compliance records, and resolve disputes. Generated media may use expiring access URLs while underlying files remain in secure storage until deleted or no longer needed.

If you delete your account, we will process deletion of associated profile data, generated stories, and related stored media, subject to limited legal or operational retention requirements.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards including authenticated access controls, token/session protections, and infrastructure security controls. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

9. Your Rights and Choices

• Access or update your profile/settings through your account.
• Request account deletion through in-app account management.
• Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion support where available by law.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries where our providers operate. We use reasonable safeguards and contractual protections where required.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy over time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, when required, provide additional notice.
